“One click” 2-piece fixing tie with arrowhead foot part

One-Click Mounts with pre-inserted cable ties save processing time and are easy to install by hand.

The design of One-Click fixing ties, featuring an arrowhead foot part and disc, significantly reduces process time in the installation of cable and harnesses in rail vehicles. The One-Click mount is supplied with a cable tie pre-inserted, allowing the fixing tie to be simply clicked by hand into an existing hole in a cable tray in the train car. The mount locks firmly on both sides of the hole. The cable tie head can be moved after bundling. The fixing tie can be pre-installed on the tray or on the harness itself and clicked onto the tray in one assembly step. Versions for oval holes feature anti-twist protection. The result is faster installation and reduced cost.

ATS3080 cable tying system for fast assembly of harnesses

Assembling harnesses for rail vehicles has never been faster and more efficient than with this autotool.

The advantages of the ATS3080 are many. The two parts of the fastener come from two different dispenser wheels – one for the strap, and a second for the closure head. The strap is automatically inserted into the closure head and cut precisely at the head without waste. Cycle times are faster, the autotool can be easily integrated into assembly processes for a large volume of fasteners, and harnesses are held secure even in high-vibration environments. Fastening material is certified to EN45545-2, making it highly suitable for rail vehicle applications.

TT4030DS: A high volume, double sided printer

High-performance printing on shrinkable tubes.

With two print heads mounted one above the other, the TT4030DS prints on both sides of the material simultaneously. In addition, its high reliability and multiple peripherals enable applications and solutions tailored to specific customer requirements. Another very innovative feature of this printer is the ribbon saving option, which optimises printing. Undoubtedly, the versatility of this printer makes it ideal for maintenance and assembly tasks in markets where identification requirements are high, such as the railway, aerospace and defence markets.

TLFX shrinkable markers

Halogen-free European rail approved as a continuous tube and printable both sides.

Certified for European rail applications, this heat-shrink marker has material properties that show low smoke propagation, density and toxicity. The markers are available in yellow or white, and are suitable for a cable range of 50.8 mm to 1.2 mm for safe and lasting identification. Special preparation of the tubing results in excellent print performance.

Helagaine Twist-In-FRX self-closing sleeve

Helagaine Twist-In-FRX is a self-closing sleeve used in rail and other industries whenever fire protection is required.

The polyester sleeve has the advantages of being easy to install and remove, therefore allowing easy access to the cable bundle for assembly, inspection or maintenance. It is ideal for retrofitting and certified to EN45545-2 European railway standard for fire safety to ensure rail vehicles meet the required level of safety.

TA 37 thin wall adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing

TA37 is an ideal solution for cable insulation in rolling stock.

Certified to EN45545-2 European railway standard for fire safety, this thin wall heat shrink tubing offers the advantages of being adhesive-lined, halogen-free and flame retardant, providing safe insulation in rail vehicles. This combination makes it unique on the market in terms of product properties. It conforms to important rail industry standards, including the British BS 6853 fire test to railway components, and London Underground section 12 approved cables, as well as relevant solar radiation standards.

KR series 1-piece cable tie without serration

The KR series 1-piece cable tie provides a secure hold with a glass-fibre reinforced pin.

The demands placed on cable fasteners in rolling stock are high in terms of movement and vibration. This can cause problems in terms of chaffing and wear. Furthermore, it is often not practical or desirable to fasten cable using serrated ties if the cable itself is sensitive to damage. The KR series locks and securely holds cable in place using a glass-fibre reinforced pin. The cable tie is very resistant to vibration, chemicals, impact and UV radiation. Furthermore, this series is available in various materials, colours and almost any length to precisely match the application. It is applied with a special KR tool to provide optimum hold, and an endless strap version can be cut to any length required.

Outside serrated (OS) series cable tie

The OS series of cable ties is an ideal solution in rolling stock for thin-walled or soft insulation wires, and to reduce damage from chaffing and wear due to vibration.

Outside serration and a smooth surface to the bundle allows the tie to follow the contours of the bundle for a secure fit. Certified to EN45545-2, the ties are manufactured from PA66V0 material, making them suitable whenever regulations require reductions in smoke and dangerous gases. A curved head design takes up less space, and the ties can be applied by hand or using one of several application tools.

Paste adhesive mounts (PMB)

Paste adhesive mounts are especially suitable for use in rail vehicles wherever screw fixing is not possible.

This series of mounts is fixed by a paste/liquid adhesive and can be installed on surfaces that are uneven. The geometric design of the mount ensures good form closure with cured adhesive, and the PMB3 version is certified to EN45545-2 European railway standard for fire safety.
